We also form partnerships with landowner a.s.r., nature organizations (Zeeland Landscape Foundation), Scheldestromen Water Authority, and the Province of Zeeland. We aim to work together to shape the design of the solar park, striving to involve everyone at an early stage, while communicating openly and transparently. If you have any questions or comments about the solar park, please feel free to contact us.

    Nature

The solar park is integrated into the landscape and the land beneath the solar panels is managed ecologically. That is how the 4 hectares of solar park will provide an abundance of food for insects.

The south-facing arrangement in combination with the height of the solar panels makes sure that the ground receives sufficient rain and light exposure for the development of nature and biodiversity. This is how soil quality is preserved.

    Participation

The Dutch pension and insurance company a.s.r. is the landowner of the plot. a.s.r. considers it important to make a significant contribution to the increased sustainability of society. As a landowner, a.s.r. is making room for the energy transition. For instance, on its lands in the Kreekrakpolder, a.s.r. is allowing ZonXP to develop solar parks that contribute to the generation of green electricity for approximately 3,900 households.
